Casey + Ben’s Maine Wedding

I’ve known Casey since she was a little peanut in a tutu at the dance school that I used to attend and teach at. Ever since she was little she’s been full of spunk and beauty! She grew up into a talented teenager and young woman winning pageant titles left and right. When she called me to let me know she had JUST gotten engaged (like literally moments before our call) and had to have me as her photographer I was incredibly honored and excited to capture her and Ben’s love story.

Looking at the weather forecast for their outdoor ceremony, I’ll admit, I had my doubts. It called for rain, and lots of it. When I arrived and began to get my camera out of the car a sudden downpour began and I was nervous. I expected to be greeted by a stressed out bride and groom to be, but instead I was welcomed in by Ben’s ginormous excited smile. He was so excited to marry Casey, and see all their friends and family–rain wasn’t going to darken his mood. Right when it was time to sneak out for photos of the guys the clouds parted and bright sunshine greeted us with glee. From then on out it was sunshine, sparklers and fireworks (literally.).

Casey and Ben, the two of you are a match made in heaven. Together you’ve created a beautiful home, and now have begun your family as Mr. and Mrs. Blackstone. I am so happy for you both and so thankful that you trusted me to capture your big day.
