The first time I chatted with Martha (over a Tim Horton’s cup of Hot Cocoa of course!) I instantly felt like we were old friends. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she told me about how she and Logan had dated since high school and how she couldn’t wait to marry him. As she shared the details of her wedding with me, I knew it was going to be an incredibly fun affair! They planned to get married at the church where I grew up in Presque Isle, Maine. Then, we’d go to the woods and fields of wildflowers for some photos via trolly and end up at their family’s farm in Mars Hill, Maine where they’d have a tent filled with more than 300 people that they love celebrating first with cocktails and snacks and lawn games, and later to the tunes of a DJ for a few hours before wrapping up the night with a live band that would rock the house until 1am. I looked forward to this wedding for well over a year, and finally, this weekend, it was finally time to celebrate with Martha and Logan. I can’t say enough about these two. Logan looks at Martha like she’s the only girl in the world and Martha just can’t get enough of her man! The fact that more than 300 people showed up (and there were probably another 300 they could’ve invited) shows how incredibly loved these two are. Martha and Logan, I am overjoyed that after many years of dating you can finally call each other husband and wife! Congratulations!
