We are SO excited to announce our recent Urban Elopement styled shoot with Captivatingly Chic Celebrations has been featured on one of our favorite blogs The Perfect Palette!

Since things are a little slower this time of year, I was really missing shooting weddings so I jumped at the opportunity to team up with the incredibly talented Cristen Faherty of Captivatingly Chic Celebrations to create a beautiful styled shoot with a Valentine’s Day Urban Elopement theme!

We were completely inspired by the beautiful necklace (which you can purchase here from Aldo for a shocking $35.00) you will see featured in the image below. It’s muted pastel colors of peach toned blush, pink and hints of robin’s egg blue combined with some metallic shades of gun metal, copper and gold truly took our breath away. We quickly ran with those colors to find amazing florals, linens and a wardrobe to create a beautiful elopement shoot!Pin

One of my favorite details at a wedding is the dessert table, so we made sure to go above and beyond with this part of our shoot! Donuts are a new trend for 2015 weddings, so we made sure to include some yummy donuts sprinkled with edible glitter in our shoot as well as a naked cake (yes, NAKED aka un-frosted) struck by a hand-made DIY Cupid’s arrow! Can it get any cuter? Complimented by love letters, candy kisses and florals for days, I think this elopement is just what your heart needs to get a little inspiration for your upcoming wedding or event!
